He has carved every seam line into it, so you will know exactly where to place every piece of glass that you will cut, shape, and foil – and then solder.
There is one paper copy of each pattern sheet to place on your work surface, printed in color. Use them for placing the pieces of glass you have cut and foiled. Then you will solder them.
